I just finished my TT-01D this weekend and thought I'd post up a blog about it.

The kit contains quite a number of hop-ups, adjustable arms, oil shocks, bearings and a sport tuned motor. An led light set-up is also included in the kit which is pretty cool. I added an alloy centre driveshaft as there is too much flex in the stock plastic unit. I also put in a one-way in the front so it has a 'handbrake' effect when braking which I really like. The rear diff has been locked with hot glue.  I was initially running the Tamiya wheels and drift tyres from the kit but I thought they had too much grip. I'm now running Kawada D4 hard plastic tyres on matt black painted rims which give a lot less grip which I prefer.

The Mazda RX-7 shell was painted gun-metal, and has a carbon fibre look sticker put on the bonnet. I made a pretty piss-poor job of applying the stickers, but still looks ok in action.

Just thought I would share a few pics of my RC stockcar, 8c. I race at Harewood RC club. Their stockcar forum is here.

I have installed all necessary hop-ups, including Bearings, Carbon Upper Deck, Tie-Rod Set and an Alloy Driveshaft.  I'm running a Novak Rooster 12T ESC and a Tamiya RZ Superstock 23T motor. I've hooked up 2x Much More 30x30mm cooling fans to keep the electronics cool, to reduce resistance and prolong motor life. Wheels are TopCad Gold Alloy 10 Y spoke rims, made from aluminium for extra stength needed for full contact racing. Topcad Gold Oil Dampers are also installed. They are stronger than stock plus much more adjustable.
